After the ‘Goldbergs’ exit due to allegations of inappropriate on-set behavior, Jeff Garlin books his first role. The Goldbergs are gearing up for Season 10 after allegations of on-set misconduct.
Jeff Garlin is making a comeback after his abrupt departure from The Goldbergs.
Garlin, 60, left the ABC series amid allegations of inappropriate on-set behavior. He’s now landed a new role on Mindy Kaling’s Never Have I Ever.
Garlin will play a character named Len in the fourth and final season of the Netflix show, who catches the eye of Nirmala (Ranjita Chakravarty), Devi’s (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) widowed grandmother.
Garlin is still appearing on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. He made his final appearance on The Goldbergs before season 10 when his character was killed off entering the 10th season.

Garlin was accused of engaging in “a pattern of verbal and physical conduct on set that made people uncomfortable” before his departure.
In a December 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, he acknowledged the misconduct allegations.
“I’m appearing on a comedy show. I am always considerate and thoughtful. Sure, I make mistakes. But my comedy is about relieving people’s suffering. Why would I ever want to inflict pain on anyone for the sake of amusement? That is considered bullying. That is completely inappropriate “He stated.
